 Karl Foerster grass typically grows 4-6 feet tall at maturity, it forms a narrow, upright clump with feathery plumes that change from pinkish to purple in summer to golden tan in fall and winter. The flower stalks rise 3 feet above the foliage and are topped with wispy, feathery plumes.
